NYFW has come and gone and while we’re all still sifting through the beautiful collections of designers and dreaming up new additions to our wardrobes, I will be adding additional musing to my mood board. No, not a specific collection or material or cut, but color….BLACK. Yes black as in ‘All Black Everything’ a la Jay-Z, and wearing black in order to help lead a more colourful life. But the most important reason that Black has such a powerful presence to me this month is of course Black History Month.
While yes I am appreciative that we have this month to look towards our past in order to gain perspective for our future. We must never forget, that our history no matter where it might originate from, can in no way be summed up in one month. Read More
Always fantastic, always fresh, fashion forward, femenin…my goodness my apologies I’m dropping F-bombs left and right. That being said Daphnee guiness is being her eccentricly wonderful self in the new issue of Vogue Germany. I couldn’t help but notice the David Bowie inspired looks from the shoot, and I love it! I do enjoy me some Bowie bravado…and I do enjoy me some Daphne Guinness as well!
The always fantastic, inspirational and fashionable Olsen sisters topped the list for Vogue’s Best Dressed List! How is this their first time toppign the list is beyond me, but I for one am thrilled about it, I wasn’t on board for Blake Lively being on the cover last time. Give me oversized, baggy and eccentricly chic Olsens to too short, too tight Ms. Lively any day of the week. These girls have intense street cred, with their covetable labels The Row and Elizabeth & James the Olsen Twin fashion empire is forever growing and making women look fashionable all over. If I ever get married, THIS will be one of my wedding dresses. Because oh yes I will wear multiple dresses, and oh yes E! will want to broadcast it to the world. Ravings of a delusional fashionable woman…yes, but while my mind may be faltering, my style never will. But in all seriousness I have been dreaming about frills like this since seeing lil miss SJP (Marie-Claire Sept. 2011) in this Christian Siriano RTW skirt. It’s gorgeous!

Looking every bit the glamorous Hollywood starlet, Kristen Stewart shows off why she’s perfect to play Snow White The Fairest of Them All. She really does look beautiful in this spread for W Magazine’s September issue. I gotta say I am really enjoying Kristen Stewart, yes she’s awkward but at least she’s real with who she is! I’ll be picking up this issue asap when it hits stands, and I am loving that eyeliner on her, girl looks good when she’s got her eyes open and lips free of biting. She’s wearing some beautiful pieces from Gucci’s Fall collection and these pics even remind me of their ads for Fall. I love Gucci even their Fall collection can make you feel swept away like their Summer ones! Team Kristen!
