It's the fashionable Easter Bunny
Since Easter is upon us I thought I’d post a quick piece about the little/big trend that could: Bunny Ears! The first time I saw this trend was in Flare’s 30th Anniversary Cover. This shoot is what made me fall in love with Flare’s editorial looks and the amazing styling of Liz Cabral! Since then these cutesy fashionable accessories have been popping up and posing on every super model, and the fashionable pages of such magazines as Vogue, Numero and Zink Magazine. This was a HUGE trend in Fall 2010 (Louis Vuitton original Easter Bunny) but since it’s Easter I thought it the best way to celebrate Easter in an oh so fabulous way. Now for you fashionable females who need to show your Easter pride without sacrificing your chic style, I’d go with the teeny version of these ears for the street strutting! As for the loud and proud version I’d save them for editorial pages! Happy Easter everyone!

The sun is shining the temp is rising and for me that means it’s time to style a shoot and head outdoors! I love editorials that take beautiful fashion and mix it with the culture, architecture and create a whole new story you could never get from a studio shoot. These photos right here are my inspiration for the weeks to come! I can only hope one day I’ll be jetting off to wonderful on location shoots, I’ll be sure to let you know when it’ll happen…cause people, it’s gonna happen.

Vogue Paris February 2011
Hard to believe that this issue is Carine Roitfeld’s second to last issue of French Vogue but it is. Emmanuelle Alt will be stepping in come February to take the reigns of the iconic fashion bible, I can’t wait to see what she brings to the magazine as the new editor! Carine’s last issue will be March 2011, a perfect birthday present for me since I’ll be turning 22 come March 4!
